Automotive-focused digital multimedia company Motor1.com, a Motorsport Network company, today announced its expansion in South America by acquiring Brazilian market leader Carplace.com.br.

DETROIT – November 8, 2016 – Miami-based technology and multimedia company Motor1.com, a sister company of Motorsport.com, continues its global expansion into South America today by acquiring Brazilian market leader, Carplace.com.br.

The acquisition of this digital automotive platform allows Motor1.com to expand its global network that already includes properties in the U.S., Italy, Canada, Turkey, and France.

Carplace.com.br supports the company’s global business strategy and aggressive expansion into new markets around the world, which will see Motor1.com in over 15 editions by the end of next year in as many as 10 languages.

With this recent addition, Motor1.com continues on its path of international growth by expanding the industry-leading automotive digital platform on which it’s built.
