Motorsport.com adds one more English language-based platform geo-targeting and tailoring its comprehensive motorsports coverage by region.

MIAMI – (Sept. 16, 2015) – Motorsports fans Down Under will now be able to view customized coverage of motorsports news content in English-speaking markets as Motorsport.com today announced that it has launched a specific digital platform for its readership in Australia, au.motorsport.com.

Entry in Australia supports the strategic editorial decision for the Company’s global site to be split into multiple English language-based platforms geo-targeting and tailoring its comprehensive motorsports coverage by region.  English versions of Motorsport.com are now available in the United States, Canada, India, UK and Australia.

“Australia is home to many racing fanatics who thirst for global and local news and content,” said Charles Bradley, editor in chief, Motorsport.com. “From Jack Brabham’s illustrious achievement of three Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championships, and two as a constructor, Australia also has a rich history in hosting major international series including F1, WRC and MotoGP. It is home to V8 Supercars – one of the world’s most spectacular touring car series.

“Motorsport.com’s audience is highly diverse, including many cultures and dialects. To help personalize our audience’s appetite for motorsport news coverage, adapting our English-speaking language websites by region is critical to the growth of our global business.”

Today’s announcement supports Motorsport.com’s strategic growth into 14 news bureaus and 10 native languages totaling over 160 countries in 2015.

“By combining news and analysis specifically relating to Australian motorsport with the content coming from our fantastic global team, Motorsport.com will be the ultimate one-stop shop for Aussie racing fans,” said Andrew van Leeuwen, editor, Motorsport.com – AUSTRALIA.

“Having dedicated, top-level coverage of V8 Supercars and other big events in Australia is an important step for Motorsport.com,” added van Leeuwen. “It means tailored content for the Australian audience, and better coverage of what's going on Down Under across our global platform. It's a win-win for fans around the world.”
