Motorsport.com's Art director Eric Gilbert takes honours at Le Mans photo contest

Motorsport.com's Art director Eric Gilbert takes third prize win at the prestigious "Sarthe Endurance Photos" contest.

Le Mans, France, 2010-12-17. Motorsport.com's Art director and renown racing photographer Eric Gilbert came in third at the prestigious "Sarthe Endurance Photos" 2010 edition, a contest that is open to photography related to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Mr. Gilbert's award-winning photo was a candid portrait of Swiss race car drivers Cyndie Allemann and Natacha Gachnang have an impromptu technical briefing in their Matech Competition Ford GT.

The jury chaired by Henri Pescarolo strove for deciding between the thousands of pictures received from the 30th of April to the 5th of October 2010 in both categories (professional and amateur). Among them, 23 have been awarded last 16th of December at the Museum of 24 Hours - Circuit de la Sarthe.
